Dalyan is a town on the Dalyan River, just inland from Turkey's southwest coast. Across the river from town is the ancient ruined city of Kaunos, with Lycian rock tombs and the well preserved remains of a theatre. Dalyan has an array of fantastic restaurants and bars, catering to everyone’s tastes.

Take the relaxing river taxi to the stunning Ä°ztuzu Beach to the south, home to protected loggerhead turtle nesting grounds. To the northwest on the shore of Lake KöyceÄŸiz is the village of Sultaniye, known for its thermal mud baths.
There are many attractions to fill your days. Visit the beautiful beaches, take a relaxing forest walk, observe the well preserved Roman ruins of Kaunos, view the stunning Lycian Rock Tombs (which look fantastic when lit up at night), take a boat trip, or grab a bargain at the local market.
Dalyan is a place that has something for everyone, no matter what your age; from doing nothing but relaxing, to white water rafting or sea kayaking, to lazy boat trips along the coast, stopping to snorkel and eat.
This wonderful un-spoilt corner of Turkey is the perfect place to enjoy the relaxing and exotic culture of Turkey. Dalyan and its people are so incredibly friendly, you will probably never want to leave.
This is just a selection of things to do and see around Dalyan. Villa Avalon is just a 5 minute walk from the nearest supermarket and just a 10 minute walk to the centre of Dalyan town, with its array of great restaurants, bars and shops.
